Domnik writes music for film and TV. He has scored 3 independent feature films and countless shorts. Most recent films include “The Runner” by Ana Lazarevic and “Landlocked” by Jerry Melichar (Focus Features). As a performer he has toured Germany, Holland and the US. Recently he was selected as “composer to watch” by ASCAP’s composer spotlight series.
In addition Domnik has worked in the music department of several movies, most recently “The Beaver” (dir. Jodie Foster), “You Don’t Know Jack” (dir. Barry Levinson), “Remember Me” (dir. Allen Coulter) and the Broadway show “Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark” (dir. Julie Taymor), featuring music by Bono and The Edge. He has worked on projects with Michel Legrand, Carly Simon, Davy Jones and many more.
Domnik was born and raised in Germany and graduated with honors from the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music in the Netherlands.
Currently he resides in New York City.
